What is the PTA?

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

At Reigate Parish Church Primary School the PTA is an organisation formed of all the parents of the school, with a committee made primarily of a chair (or co-chairs), a secretary, a treasurer and the class representatives.

Our aim is to raise extra funds for the school that allows our children to have extra experiences and equipment beyond those covered in the school’s budget, whilst having fun along the way!

We try and cover a broad range of fundraising events both large and small including summer and Christmas fairs, a fantastic family friendly fireworks night, a quiz night, cheese and wine tasting, second-hand school uniform sales, recycling projects, Christmas card designs and many more.

We meet once a term to share fundraising ideas and are always more than happy to meet new people and parents with a passion for supporting the children and the school. There is no obligation to sign up for anything. You can do as little or as much as you like. Just sharing your thoughts is a great way to get involved.

Over the last few years we have had exceptional years of fundraising and we would like to extend our thanks to everyone for their support, ideas, feedback and commitment to the PTA.

How to get involved?

The more parents we have actively helping, the more events we can run and that means more money raised for the school – please get in touch with us!

You can contact us via email on  parishptacochairs@gmail.com

Or with a written note via the PTA white box in the schools reception

Or please speak to any committee member in the playground!
