Inclusion & SEND


We seek to meet the needs of each individual pupil, providing for the able and talented and for those with special educational needs. These may be needs in one or a range of areas including: Speech, Language and Communication including English as an Additional Language groups; Behaviour, Emotional and Social including the Nurture group; Phonological processing and dyslexia; Fine or Gross Motor Skills therapies, Sensory Processing or Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Our Pastoral Team meet together regularly to review the needs of pupils, parents and staff in our community. We have a team of well trained support staff who work within the classroom, with small groups and on an individual basis. Individual programmes of work and differentiated tasks in class are planned by the class teacher, the SENCo and outside agencies.

The team consists of Mrs Day and Mrs Slade and they are led by Mrs Molica, the Inclusion co-ordinator/SENCo who is in school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Her email is:
